Archangel Michael's Litanies

An Invocation for Peace on Earth and the Ending of all Evil - Daily Meditations for Christ Mass

Archangel Michael's Litanies are a ceremony of meditations for Christ Mass that begin on Midnight on December 1st and run through December 31st. During each day of the Litanies, use an Etheric Weaver together with the Soul Therapy Music and focus on the principle of the invocation of the Litany as well as its corresponding Ray energy.

"The more we understand about the Litanies the more it affects us as it is very powerful. It is voting for the Law of Love to take over the Law of Hate, we understand we have a choice and it becomes stronger with our actions because we already voted when we incarnated."

Buddha Maitreya The Christ

Each Litany starts at the beginning of the day at midnight although the Litany meditation can be done at any time during the day. Everyday, read and contemplate the complete current Litany along with its relationship to the corresponding Litany and Rays - pondering on the words and trying to understand as much as possible of the meaning.

During all the days of the Litanies play the Great Invocation or any of the Soul Therapy music as they all apply to the same understanding, The Great Invocation is the best for all the Litany Meditations as it says exactly the same thing, its outcome is the same: the ending of all evil. Use your Etheric Weaver throughout the days to contemplate and meditate on this Invocation and its Ray qualities.

Throughout the days study the Ray qualities. At midnight, on the day before the Litanies change, follow the same guidelines as above, shifting the focus to the new Litany and its corresponding Ray and Litany relationships always bearing in mind the purpose of the Litanies as a whole: the ending of all evil and establishing of Peace on Earth.

About The Litanies

"Basically, in the process of the litanies, your personality is being consumed and what takes its place is your Soul and the Soul’s qualities. So rather than vices, there are virtues and those virtues require an empty mind. They require for you to be an empty vessel; the ability for you to be spontaneous - to not have great expectations and have them never be fulfilled. That is just in the personality world, in your own personality life.

So every year this is done from the beginning of time. It’s the Litany of Archangel Michael, it’s the Litany of God, it’s the purpose behind God and the process of creation in the hope of helping to evolve everything in a more soulful way… and that way kind of moves you toward ceaseless activity, the ability to do what’s right in that moment, to not think negative thoughts and be aggressive toward other people or the desires that you want to fulfill. It’s much more about just taking things peacefully and dealing with things more harmoniously.

So the litanies help give people the grounded-ness to live in a more spiritual way which in the world is hard. How well can you deal with things when you are in the middle of a flood or having your house foreclosed or all the hardship of loved ones getting sick or dying or losing your job and not having enough to pay the bills? All of these are normal, everyday things.

It’s the foundation of Buddhism, the philosophy of Buddhism, which is to learn to take life in a way that you can deal with it in a harmless way. Things are going to happen - everything happens and the more you are nothing, the more you can be nothing on an everyday note, every second of every moment, the more you are able to respond. The more you are able to be there in that moment and appreciate what is going on and deal with the negative situation without your subconscious mind and your emotional body and your physical habitual body having a response that is there because you have not cleared yourself enough on a daily level - you have too many things going on and they get stored in your subconscious and it creates your personality.

And it’s the persona that we give the whole planet - in cultures and identity and in having race separation and sex separation and all the things that we have in our world makes us extremely personality oriented and it makes it very difficult for the world to be thinking in a spiritual way or to conceive God in a revelation in reality in the world which is very, very difficult to have. Most people normally jump to a process of having a strong fanatical relationship to what you think is God and your religion or dogma. But that process is still your subconscious, your lower mind and a knee-jerk reaction, it’s not really the truth.

And the truth of God and the existence of a working out of a plan and the beauty of that really does exist. It’s what your Soul is there to really be actively involved in, in manifesting those changes. Like doing good things, thinking good thoughts, having good reactions to things. It’s ten thousand times harder to have a good reaction to a bad thing – it’s really easy to get on the bandwagon and get all upset and aggressive. So you have got to let yourself get aggressive because you have a subconscious dilemma that’s going to come up and that is your personality.

Every time you use your mind and your ability to become more nothing in the process and more simply witnessing the process and have a true conscience about what is real - like what you really said, what you are really thinking - rather than having a constant subconscious reality where you are thinking and saying things that are not that good and you are not aware of it. Like habits, you are just not aware of them. They go on and you are blind to it. So the more the healing goes on, the more your peacefulness and your right relationship to the world and your conscious ability to deal with it and gain the virtues, which is patience, takes place. A lot of virtues have everything to do to give you the strength and the courage to deal with how hard it is and how long it takes to mature and to evolve and to really become a spiritual being, without being dogmatic and religiously fanatical, because that is going to drive you crazy because no one could ever meet those expectations.

So the more empty we are, the easier it happens and it happens very naturally. We have a Soul. We have a Monad. That Monad is really our greatest spiritual integration of our entire being-ness, a place where you are one with everything. It’s like that flower child kind of thing - a lot of nice words but you really feel it, you really feel compassionate and more caring when you do carry these thoughts on and you actually have them in your mind.

For a planet to become spiritual, it’s a long road. It’s not a road of terrorism, or having different religions – they all just kind of synthesize into humanity - being humane and not being led by what other people are doing and you think you need to do that or go along with that or agree with that. It's more along the line of YOU as a very strong individual who has made changes for yourself and you did this through your strength and your courage and your ability to stand up or be quiet and make changes that becomes very much your heart and your love in your mind.

When that happens you are actually losing yourself in a process. It’s not a matter of sacrificing yourself, or sacrificing your ego, you actually have to use more of an ego in order to realize what is really right or wrong - discernment and discrimination - and how to best deal with it and to pat yourself on the back but not expect someone else to pat you on the back. You have got to have a self-realization of your own abilities to become a better person and your realization to know that you are not and that whatever you have got going on, you have got to be able to cope with that and counter that and it takes courage and it takes strength… it takes love.

And that is not part of this emotional sixth-ray kind of esoteric interpretation of love, because that’s more along the line of loyalty, faith and devotion. And when you have loyalty on the lesser side, you are having loyalty to what other people expect you to do. You are loyal to that process and that just inhibits your Soul. It keeps your personality going and it makes you a bigger person - more ego in the lower way.

So the litanies are all about letting that go, burning that off and the outcome of the Litanies is based on the reality of the fact that there really is evil and there really is good. And what if on this planet everything is to be spiritual, is to be God-oriented and good. And what if God is to be the law without it being written down like the ten commandments, but literally the conscious, spiritual law that’s inside of all of us and we can actually live that law under the Law of Love. But there is also a law that is based on the law of hate, and subconsciously without knowing it, we could be living that law based on the law of hate.

So we have got to actually make a transformation from the law of hate, to the Law of Love. And with either one, we have no free will. We cannot say “Ah, I choose to be the Law of Love. I’m going to be fine and dandy and super good.” but still have these subconscious characteristics and things going on within that is actually transmitting, and manifesting, expressing the law of hate or the law of separation.

So the litanies are kind of an invocation that God expresses in order to balance out the lack of free will that we actually have and help us become more aware of the fact that there is a spiritual process going on - an integration of change going on between good and evil. In the Litanies it talks about how there’s a throne and Satan’s in charge, doing things and making things happen. But that could be a parable; it could be just an expression of an understanding of where the law of hate sits and that it exists and that as long as it exists, then that becomes the dominant force that moves humanity. We can have wars and all kinds of things going on. We can even have all kinds of things going on in nature that we think are separate from our physical reality - our mind, our consciousness and our actions. But what if it was actually, directly correlated to our mind and our emotions and our reactions. And that the theory or the thought that there could be a heavenly kind of human relationship that also fosters the reality of a planetary relationship, harmony inside of other things where healing takes place and all kinds of metaphysical realities happen without our knowing. The process of many, many things could be happening without any part of our knowing that is going on.

There are a lot of churches or metaphysicians and stuff that use ceremonial processes in order to work within that theory - that by prayer, or whether by dark ceremony or light ceremony, their whole belief system is that literally this is a magical game and that we can actually have things happen for our good or for the bad of others or to control others, or to control things inside of ourselves, things that we need and all that kind of stuff. People do this all the time: people who go to football games or baseball games are doing this - it’s all a form of magic and they actually think that they are influencing the outcome of the game.

It’s a lot of our way of having a subconscious spiritual reality going on, that we have to bring it out in these lower mind or lower belief system ways and they come out all the time, whether it be in our church, whether it be in the football field, even at NASA they do this, ceremonies they are doing in order to foster the breaking of elemental forces that may screw everything up, causing it to go wrong.
So there could be a truth in all of this. There is just an ignorance in the process of what we are doing, but there could be a truth in all of it. So by emptiness it could be the most magical thing in the world. Not getting in the way. Not creating the energy that may be manipulating, maybe even being part of a ceremony that is manifesting all of the bad things that goes on in the world.

When you meditate during the litanies, listen to the Soul Therapy Music and especially the words, because the words are very specific invocations that are in you. They are Laws of Love that are working in the world and are manifesting as God’s way of thinking and God’s way of making things happen. They may not be your everyday choice of thinking, but it is the way God thinks and how God is manifesting things. So by us listening to these words, it helps us to have an invocation/evocation in our deeper self - on an atomic level into an emotional and then to a physical level, so it could make us better people and the planet a better place."

Purpose of the Litanies

The main focus of the Litanies is conquering Satan by dethroning him, and conquering the process of being asleep while alive. Because as long as people are asleep Satan rules. When they wake up they choose to seek Christ, and find out that He has reincarnated, and then people choose to become a disciple to Christ. That’s what the Litanies are for. And to understand that life means absolutely nothing unless that is what they are doing. Because this is the purpose of the human incarnation. Every human hears the words of the Litanies when they are born as a human, from being a plant or an ant or an animal. They are here to overthrow human nature and the King of Earth, who is Satan.

It was the work of the Christ to show the meaning of the Cross, and to teach the great lesson of sacrifice which means that none shall seek Freedom till all are saved. He promised to remain with us always, renouncing his Nirvana until the end of the world, and dwelling with His beloved children - the publican and the sinner - in the mysterious inner places of consciousness. And those who follow Him must do likewise, and must enter into the state of the desire of birth each year with a yearly increase of the will to help the world. Thus the desire changes its character by degrees, and becomes selfless instead of selfish. The soul of man, and the soul of the world, the soul of nature and of sub-Nature, all pass alike through the birth-throes.

In December, the birth month, there are seven great and vital Ceremonies, filling the whole month with their observances. The first is the Desire of Birth, the commencement of the mystic story. It is so remote from human and material life that its impossible to describe it in human language. It is witnessed consciously only by the spiritual being before its descent into matter. The disciple who seeks to take part in it while living in the body must endeavor to recall to his memory the litany which he heard chanted in the spiritual sphere from which he came when he sought the experience of human life.
The Ceremony of the Desire of Birth lasts for four days and nights, beginning on 1st December. During this time it is necessary for the disciple to contemplate all that is implied in its litany.

At each midnight, and at the hour of dawn, he should meditate upon the words of the litany, endeavoring to obtain understanding in respect to them. They are very difficult and obscure, so much so as to seem meaningless to the man in material life if he tests them by the light of intellect. But the disciple who belongs to one of the occult schools, and who desires to become a conscious part of the Divine whole, must enter into the higher psychic, telepathic life of the world at this sacred season, and apprehend from year to year more and more of the mystery of the divine life in himself, and its union with the material.

Archangel Michael Litanies

The Ceremony of Desire of Birth
December 1st-4th

I. I desire birth.

II. I am ready to be burned and consumed; for that is what birth is.

III. I am ready to be naked and unprotected, and to suffer from my nakedness; for that is what life is.

IV. I am ready to make the pilgrimage through matter in darkness and in fire, so that the circle of the uncreate shall become one with the circle of the create.

The Ceremony of Terror
December 5th-6th

I. I am nothing, save as a fragment to be burned and consumed.

II. I, alone, am as nothing.

The Ceremony of Consecration
December 7th-10th

I. I devote the spirit that is being born within me to the service of the spirit of love.

II. In this coming year I will dwell in the sanctuary of love; I will not offend against the law of love.

III. I will remember that I have not to ask love but to give love; that I have to give of my very self to the world.

IV. I will molest none; I will forgive all. In return, I demand that the spirit to be born in me this month shall be beloved of the brotherhood of souls, and shall be recognized as a soul of love.

The Feast of Love
December 11th-14th

I. Love is the only King; the only Ruler, the only Creator.

II. Hate and Satan one; rebel, anarchist, destroyer.

III. Love’s action is what men call charity.

IV. The action of hatred is known as malice.

V. Love has only one punishment for the sinner, and that is forgiveness.

VI. To live according to the law of love is a hundred thousand times harder than to live according to the law of hatred; to this great effort I pledge myself. To live according to the law of love means the acceptance of every evil as a good. By that acceptance, if it is done in the spirit of love, the evil becomes good. It is to the conversion of evil into good in our natures, in the natures of others, and in the affairs of life, that we devote ourselves. Henceforth we do not avoid evil, we love it and transform it. By loving it we make ourselves a part of the creative principle which is love.

VII. To this great effort the disciples pledge themselves during the Feast of Love, and bind themselves together to unite in it. It cannot be done alone.

The Feast of Union
December 15th-20th

I. There is no more any parting of the ways.

II. All the different paths are become but the one path.

III. I am but a part.

IV. I am but one stone in the Great Temple.

V. I am a soldier in the army, and from the one who is next to me I cannot swerve by ever so small a fraction; for if I did, the march of the whole army would be disordered. I remain, therefore, immovably associated with my fellow soldiers.

VI. I know that I take upon myself the responsibility of the whole when I pass consciously into union with it.

VII. I am ready, without complaint, to be cast down from the place in which I stand, should I swerve or flinch under any trial falling on those next me; for I know that my strength can never be exhausted, since my comrades also stand unswervingly by my side; and while united we cannot fall.

The Feast of Satisfaction
December 21st-24th

I. The divine satisfaction has fallen upon me.

II. I give because my heart is too full; it cannot contain all that it has.

III. I am conscious that love is infinite, though I can hold but one drop. Therefore do I cut down the little tree which was the expression of my personal growth.

IV. Here on the floor of the place of learning, lies the myrtle of my life; then it will wither, and it will be swept away when the floor is prepared for the next great Feast. I am satisfied that this is so, for I have entered into all.

V. I myself am nothing and have nothing.

VI. Yet I have all and I am all.

VII. I sleep and wake at the same time.

VIII. Within me is the measureless content which is eternal rest, and which, once attained, can never be disturbed. My being is absorbed with the absolute peace, therefore I am ready for ceaseless activity, and armed for incessant warfare.

The Birth Day
December 25th-31st

I desire absolute Love.
Litanies and Ray Relationships

Seven Rays - Seven Litanies

Try not to see the Litanies as separate daily Invocations but the bigger view, understanding the relationships between the Litanies and between the Rays. Study all the days and how they compliment each other and listen to the track of the Great Invocation to receive an impression of the larger picture.

The First Litany is the First Ray: the Logos, the Self-Born, the Planetary Logos, which is a powerful energy. In the first simple sentence of the Litany ‘I desire birth’ it collects all of that energy to invoke a purpose, the working out of a Plan. In the end, there is no longer Satan as King, ruling the dominating forces of Earth, we have Christ, liberating and awakening Buddha-Nature and all those Seven Rays manifesting as Soulful qualities with no glamours.

If the Litanies are put together in this way then you receive the manifestation of revelation of the Fourth Ray. It is why Buddha Maitreya talks about World Peace, not just personal peace but World Peace, how is this brought about? The only way is through magic, through Christ Mass. All Masters of Loving Wisdom do this work like Christ, and during this time it creates Christ Mass or Michael’s Mass. To do the Litanies is to join with this group and with this work. When understood, it is a profoundly powerful Invocation that brings the incarnation of Christ and the ending of evil. The Litanies end on December 25th with the birth of Christ, which we all celebrate together.

December 1st - The Ceremony of Desire of Birth - First Ray

December 25th - The Birth Day - Seventh Ray

The First Ray and First Litany are like the pyramid capstone, and the Seventh Ray and the Seventh Litany like the pyramid base. The desire of birth is the reincarnation of Christ, the Planetary Logos.

December 5th - The Ceremony of Terror - Second Ray

December 21st - The Feast of Satisfaction - Sixth Ray

The Second Ray and the Sixth Ray correspond to the second initiation, the energy of the United States. The two Rays and Litanies personally relate. Everything works in a complementary way in an Invocation. If you look at the Ray energies they have the relationships of devotion - service, dependence - independence. Perfect service is being nothing, a mantle of service, a mantle of grace, like a chalice.

December 7th - The Ceremony of Consecration - Third Ray

December 15th - The Feast of Union - Fifth Ray

Now, instead of a veiler, the Fifth Ray becomes the revealer and the energy of extreme personal reverence. The Fifth Ray also opens up the Third Ray, seeing everything and applying everything. The Fifth Ray de-crystalizes and re-crystalizes, perfect devotion to re-crystalizing and restructuring.

December 11th - The Feast of Love - Fourth Ray

This is the Fourth Litany relating to the Forth Ray, which represents Earth. This Litany is the outcome, it represents the midpoint which is the outcome of everything: 'Love is the only King, the only Ruler, the only Creator.' The Great Invocation is the perfect complementation to the Litanies as it says exactly the same thing, its outcome is the same: the ending of all evil.
